Beverly Henry, 66, passed away quietly in her home on November 2nd, 2017. She was surrounded by her adoring family and friends as she passed on to the next realm.
She was born Beverly Gayle McAlear on June 24th, 1951 to Dorothy and Richard McAlear of Mount Vernon Indiana. She was a member of the Mount Vernon High School Marching Band and graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1969.
She moved to Noblesville in 1970 where she met Tony Henry. After a short courtship, they were married in 1971 and moved into a home in Westfield Indiana. There they had three children, Ryan, Julia and Richard.
Beverly was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2014, but it never slowed her zest for life! She swooned over her grandchildren, loved to go shopping for antiques and enjoyed traveling the United States. Beverly was a woman who would not allow fear to control her life. She enjoyed going Skydiving and Zip-lining through the forest canopy, she never allowed the fear to stop her from enjoying all the thrills that life has to offer. Being brave in the face of adversity was just part of who she was.
Because of her selfless nature, Beverly did not want a memorial or service in her honor. She asked that her memory be preserved by either donating to your local Women’s Shelter or to your local Humane Society in her name. Flowers wither and die, donating to help others lives on forever. She is loved and greatly missed by her Husband Tony Henry and three loving children, Ryan, Julia and Richard. Her mother Dorothy Freimiller and Uncle Ferrel Meinschein of Alabama, Aunt Carolyn (Chet) Zuber, Sister-in law Elisa (Rod) Griscom of Houston Texas, Sister-in-law Gail (Chris) Williams, Nieces Rhiannon (Jared) Friddle, Allison Bolger, Kristy (Greg) Bacni and Sarah (Andrew) Freeland and 3 grandchildren Hayden Henry, and Trenton and Sierra Pritchard. She is preceeded in death by her father Richard McAlear and her sister Diana McAlear-Walker.
She made us laugh. She brought a smile to our faces just being who she was, a loving mother, wife and friend.
And now she makes us cry.
